Info on the appeal:
On the 27th December 2017, over 30 volunteers from Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee, including Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, Physios, Radiographers and administrative staff are traveling to Ezeidab and Al Damer in Northern Sudan to bring their skills, vital medical equipment, and supplies to people of this region.
While the group of six doctors including two Cardiologists and an Orthopaedic surgeon hold clinics and perform procedures for people who do not have access to/ could never afford them, our administrative staff will pay a visit to the local schools, and equip them with the basic equipment needed to help ensure they sustain standards of basic education long after hospital staff return home to Ireland.
