School has resumed, late nights playing in the garden are limited to weekends and in general we are all back to routine, but the fun and frolics haven’t stopped.
We may not have made it to the All-Ireland with our senior team but our minors certainly put on a wonderful display so I encourage you all to give them the support they deserve on All-Ireland Day.
We met with new Rose of Tralee, Offaly Doctor Jennifer Byrne and we have lots of pictures from what has been happening through festival week. We look forward to catching up with Jennifer later in the year for an in depth interview on how her year is going but for now it’s off to Listowel for the ever popular Harvest Racing Festival. It’s a tradition in Kerry now really, the summer is not officially over until you have spent a day at Listowel Races. Kicking off on September 10th a bumper week is promised with the very popular Ladies Day on Friday the 15th. It’s the men’s turn on Thursday 14th for best dressed with Saturday being vintage day, and yes we have tickets to giveaway to all three days so check it out inside.
We have a great wedding feature with lots of tips and ideas for those thinking of getting married, so we hope that if you are planning your big day you will get some ideas from this.
So all in all there’s lots for you to catch up with, get the kids to school, boil the kettle and take a little time out with your cup of tea and your favourite monthly read, we all need a little me time…. .
Until next month,
