to take a step back due to ill health. With Annette Hennessy now overseeing everything as business owner and manager, she embraces Patrick’s vision whilst also working to develop Scotia to its full potential.

With that said, Scotia have announced an amazingly generous offer with their Easter revision program. Every cent made from Easter revision for Junior Certificate classes will be donated directly to Ukrainian refugee relief projects. Such a kind gesture in times where money isn’t easy to come by, parents can be well assured that their child is benefitting from the revision whilst at the same time directly helping those in times of crisis.
Speaking with Annette Hennessy she told us “Our approach to learning is completely child centred and focused. We work closely with each child, keeping class sizes small to ensure maximum attention and focus. We will tackle each topic in depth, recording classes so that the students have access to the recordings to gain a better understanding. If we identify that a child needs help again in a certain area, we will work closely with them until they have the knowledge of it they need so that they feel confident going into their exams.
We are very proud of our Easter revision program and the results that it achieves for students. The fact that we can support such a worthy cause with Ukrainian refugee relief at the same time makes it all worthwhile. I am conscious that a lot of people want to help this very worthy cause in some way but perhaps don’t feel financially that they can support it as much as
they would like, with this option your child’s education is being catered too whilst you are helping those in need, I know that will make a lot of people happy with their choice to come to Scotia Muse Academy.”
“We have very good connection’s and lines of communications open with a lot of the second level education institutions in the Kerry area which helps massively when working with the student. Along with our revision programs we offer full time Leaving Certificate programs. We take each student on their own merits and work very closely with them, identifying their individual needs. We simply
don’t allow the child to fall behind because we are constantly analysing their needs and working with them closely to ensure they are on top of everything. This can of course be difficult in a mainstream educational environment where a teacher is looking after the needs of thirty or so students every 40 minutes. Our highly qualified teachers identify key learning areas and needs and address them accordingly. A huge learning tool used, as I mentioned, is the recording of classes if the teacher feels it’s a subject that will need close attention after class has finished. Every teacher within the Scotia Muse Academy is Garda vetted and extremely well qualified at the top of their profession. We are very proud of the Academy we have today and look forward to
