Don’t miss a great event
Over 100 exhibitors are expected to feature in this year’s Business EXPO which will be held at Fels Point Hotel, Tralee on Feb 8th. 12-6pm
The EXPO presents an opportunity for female owned and managed businesses in Kerry to raise their profile, meet the public and promote their products and services to them. It also offers an excellent platform for everyone living and visiting Kerry to meet and interact with businesses that are currently operating right here on our doorstep.
Exhibitors range from the Food and Tourism sectors to Health & Fitness, Coaching, Consultation, Fashion & Retail, Dance & Leisure, IT, Web and Graphic design, Print media, Interior design, Craft, Art, Education, Natural Therapies and much, much more. Some of the female orientated businesses are already well established companies and others are home-based businesses.
Liz Maher says “We are providing a wealth of opportunities and resources to Kerry retailers and businesses which will enable them to grow and expand. This is all part of our awareness campaign and the promotion of the “Shop Local” initiative. Our main objective is to develop an annual event to drive the Kerry business community and expose the vast variety of skills and professionalism available within the county”.
There will be workshops throughout the day such as a Cooking demo with Nourish by Nature, presenting a selection of cooking options for healthy eating. For the busy working mom’s and dad’s Business Action Coach – Helen Burns presents the “Time Management” workshop which will provide some useful information on managing and developing a work life balance. “Secret Tips for Spring Cleaning” with Breeda Hurley from the award winning ABC cleaning company, Breeda will divulge some of her secret tips on cleaning a number of troublesome household items and says her tips won’t cost a penny. Sona Dowds demonstrates baby massage and exercise techniques, which offer relief from colic, constipation, wind, excess mucus, growing pains, teething discomfort and tension and lastly, Janice Tucker will talk about “Conflict Management”. This issue relates to both home, work and life in general and Janice gives us some insights into how we can deal effectively with conflict in our life.
If that isn’t enough we have entertainment lined up for the whole family to enjoy throughout the afternoon, including Zumba Dancing with Linda Flannigan, Drum Dance Ireland with Urs Wrenk, Hip Hop dance, Chraka dance, all in the main lobby of Fels Point Hotel.
All in all, the Business EXPO promises to be a great day out with something to offer everyone. Admission is free of charge. Workshops and Seminars are also free and are on a first come first serve basis, as room capacity is limited. A programme of events will be available on the day and will list all exhibitors, seminars and workshops.
