Hello and welcome to July
The kids are all on holiday now and whilst we can’t arrange the foreign trip away lets make the most of what we have and take a staycation,
I was in South Kerry recently and I have to say it was a fantastic trip from start to finish, fine food and hospitality at the Moorings, boat trips around the Skellig, climb to the Kerry Cliffs to see the breath-taking view I could go on but if you continue reading you will find all the things to do in this month’s issue.
We also had the pleasure of meeting with Celebrity gardener Diarmuid Gavin, that was an experience, we had lots of fun and I have to say he is a complete gentleman as you will read in our story with him.
Derval O Rourke chats to us, about life and choices to stay healthy that work for you.
We have some great new contributors this month-Mairead McMahon from Achieve Fitness has started an advice piece on getting you back to fitness and looking after your all over well being
Pat Harmon of All Care Pharmacy Mounthawk, is going to share tips with us each month as is Roger Harty Optician so please feel free to email your queries and we will pass them on.
Elaine Higgins of Pure Beauty Dingle gives advice on getting our skin back on track, and of course we have all our usual experts.
Things are still very uncertain in this crazy world of ours and at the time of going to print there was a lot of uncertainty regarding the reopening planned for July 5th so I hope you are reading this somewhere nice enjoying more easing of restrictions and if not, take a breath and keep focused, we are nearly there.
Huge thanks to you all as always for your support.
Without you, I couldn’t keep doing what I love which is
‘Keeping Kerry Connected’
Until next month
Mind yourselves and mind each other
