Mary McCaffrey
Dr. Mary McCaffrey is a Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist at The Scotia Clinic, Tralee and University Hospital Kerry. He areas of special interest are Menopause and Fertility. Having been involved in menopause care since 1991 she strongly believes in a holistic model care providing both medical and non- medical treatments. Her team include menopause nurses, counsellors , a nutritionist and complementary therapists.
Dr Helen McMahon of Seabody
Dr. Helena McMahon’s research career started in the areas of molecular medicine, gene and cellular therapeutics, prompted by a fascination with the human body, how and why it works at the genetic and cellular level and the use of biotechnology to develop new therapies. Dr. McMahon pivoted into the area of biobased products, in particular the identification and use of molecules from nature for health and wellness and new product development. Realising early that the sustainable production of these natural molecules at scale was central to unlocking their use for human health Dr. McMahon became very involved in sustainability and circular bio-economy. Grainne Ryle
Gráinne is Superintendent Pharmacist and co-owner of Ryles Pharmacy on Ashe Street.
She has been a community pharmacist since 2010, and has been based in Tralee full-time since then. Gráinne’s face was previously best known in Fairies Cross Pharmacy, where she built up a loyal customer base and was previously awarded a Connect Kerry Customer Service Award for exceptional patient care.
Gráinne has a special interest in Cancer Care and Palliative Care, and Ryles Pharmacy aim to tailor the pharmacy experience to best meet the needs of cancer patients, and to simplify their medications. As cancer is a disease affecting one in every two people since 2020, Gráinne has become a certified member of the British Oncology Pharmacy Association and has done extensive further learning on supportive and adjunctive treatment to support individuals through their treatment.
