Kerry Heroes of 2023 proudly supported by Fexco
Radio Kerry and Fexco are once again joining forces to honour Kerry Heroes. These heroes are individuals and groups who have shown outstanding community spirit, courage, vision and leadership in the last 12 months here in Kerry. They make us proud to be of Kerry. So, as 2023 reaches its close, Radio Kerry and Fexco offer you the opportunity to nominate your Kerry Heroes.
There will be eight award recipients and each will receive a specially created 2023 award, crafted and sponsored by Louis Mulcahy Pottery/Potadóireacht na Caolóige, Clogher, Ballyferriter.
We invite the people of Kerry to let us know who they consider to be the Kerry Heroes of 2023. Who do you feel really deserves to be recognised for their work at home, in the community, at work. Plenty of well known Kerry people made us proud this year. There are also plenty of people less well known who contribute so much to our county. In either case the nominations are in your hands … you don’t necessarily have to have been the recipient of the kindness nor do you need to personally know someone to nominate them for their outstanding contribution to Kerry.
On Thursday, December 21st Jerry O Sullivan will announce t
he 2023 Kerry Heroes and honour them on a special Kerry Today programme between 9 and 11am.
We welcome nominations for Kerry Heroes of all ages. Please let us know, in no more than 500 words, who you wish to nominate, along with a photograph if possible by email hero@radiokerry.ie or by post to Kerry Heroes, Kerry Today, Radio Kerry, Maine Street, Tralee, Co Kerry. Closing date for receipt of nominations is midday on Thursday, December 14th 2023.
