Kingdom Swimming Club Hosts Invitational Club Gala

Kingdom Swimming Club was delighted to host their Invitational Club Gala last weekend; For the first time in over two years, the club greatly appreciated the opportunity to welcome teams from all over Munster & Connacht to compete in a Swim Ireland Level 3 meet. The Level 3 meet provided swimmers the opportunity to achieve times to qualify for the Irish National age group championship in UL in July.

A number of our club members achieved PB’s and were well represented on the podium.

Presentations on the day-

(1) Presentation to Cara Credit Union

Presentation piece commemorating the Clubs latest achievements at National level – in recognition of their support from the Lauri Healy Sponsorship award.

(2) Presentation to MariiMaryntseva Presentation of a 3-month gym membership kindly donated by Tralee Sports Complex to welcome our latest member to the club-International Synchronised Swimmer MariiMaryntseva from Ukraine. Presented by Head Coach Ger McDonald.

Cian amassed a total of 6 medals at our Gala, 3 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze.

Cian has just recently represented the club at the prestigious Irish Open Swimming Championships achieving a PB and 7th place in the 100 Meter Fly.
