Hi Kathryn welcome to Kerry, tell us a little bit about the boot camp you have just completed here at Parknasilla,
Thanks! We have had such a wonderful time over the past 7 weeks in Parknasilla in Sneem. It has been lovely really to spend so much time in the Kingdom. My mum is from Kenmare so this neck of the woods is really like a home away from home. What Parknasilla offers their own clients is a very professional but personal service and it has been brilliant to work alongside them. The weather has been with us too which has been a God send as all our classes are done outside and what a setting!!!! Pure Results at Parknasilla has won over the hearts and minds of all of our clients, who I am absolutely sure will return year on year.

Is it something you do each year and if so how can the ladies of Kerry start planning for your next trip?
Yes, defo! I feel Pure Results will always have a base in Kerry along the Wild Atlantic Way. There is something so unique, rejuvenating and spiritual about working out in the Kerry landscape. We do day trips to Derrynanne Beach, Gleninchaqinn National Park and we hike along the Old Kerry Way. Maybe I’m biased but there is nowhere else like it in Ireland as far as I’m concerned. We need as a country to really focus on our health and wellbeing and I would be delighted to welcome the ladies of Kerry to any of our camps, whether they want to live in or whether they want to avail of our day tripper rates.

You’re a busy lady, The Voice, Operation Transformation, to name two, do you like the busy lifestyle and do you have any secrets you would like to share with our readers on juggling it all and still looking as good as you do every day?
I won’t lie to you…the last two years setting up this business while holding down two of the biggest shows on RTE has been a real challenge. It has required stamina, a lot of driving, plenty of sleepless nights and more than one or two glasses of wine to stay sane.
What do you do to relax?
I love waking my dogs, having dinner with my partner Padraig and going for a great girlie night out with my mates I don’t see often enough and dancing until dawn….these days that only seems to happen once every 6 months!!!

We know you love Kerry, would you like to spend more time here?
Absolutely! As I said it really does feel like a home away from home.

Where to next for Kathryn?
Well we are moving Pure Results to the Temple Lodge Spa outside Moate in Co West Meath and we are really looking forward to the months ahead. The business is growing from strength to strength and we are adding to our product offering all the time. The end goal for me is and always has been, to make people feel confident in them again. To let them know they can win back their self-belief in a very supportive, inclusive environment, no matter where that is. We are all so busy in our lives, we must remember to take a step back and invest in ourselves. I think as women, by our very nature, we are way too hard on ourselves and we need to remember how brilliant we are and what we are capable of.
