Today the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle (ROKCC) Committee announced that Registration for this year’s Event will open on online on www.ringofkerrycycle.ie on Friday 21st February at 2pm.

The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle will take place on Saturday 5th July and the Organising Committee is aiming to raise in excess of €1 million again this year for National and Local Charities.

Since the Event’s inception in 1982, close to €20 million has been raised, making a powerful and meaningful difference to the people who need it most. Last year alone, the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle raised an incredible €1,165,625 in much needed funds for 36 Charities and Community Organisations.

The 170 Kilometre cycle starts and ends in Killarney. The scenery along the route is beyond spectacular. Vistas of the Atlantic Ocean will accompany you for nearly 100 kms of the route from Glenbeigh to Kenmare and the most welcome views of all are that of the Macgillycuddy Reeks that will accompany you for your descent back to Killarney. More than one thousand volunteers comprising of medics, marshals and teams of people manning the water and food stations ensure participants safety and sustenance.
