St. Brendan’s Park FC under 13 and 15 girls got their season off to a stylish start with new jersey’s kindly sponsored by Cara Credit Union.
St. Brendan’s Park FC was founded in 1971. Over the last 50 years the club has fostered teams across all age groups to enjoy the benefits of participation in sport. Similar to Cara Credit Union the dedicated volunteers form the backbone of both organisations.
Speaking to Pa Laide, CEO of Cara Credit Union, he said; ““Every day we see ordinary people going to extraordinary lengths to make our communities better places to live. As a local not-for-profit financial co-operative, we feel it is our responsibility to lend support to organisations such as St. Brendan’s Park FC. However, to enable us to support such causes, we need support from our members. To this end, we ask members to consider Cara Credit Union if they need a loan. Lending is our main source of income. Therefore, the more we earn the more we can give back to our members and our local community.”
Mike Mc Cannon PRO St. Brendan’s Park FC continued ; “The girls are delighted with their new jerseys. The credit union continue to support the club as we go from strength to strength and for this we are very grateful. The last few months have been very difficult for people and we are delighted to get the opportunity to return to play, with thanks to our many volunteers and local businesses, including Cara Credit Union.”
