Old School Glamour wins at the McElligotts Honda Virtual Ladies Day

Resplendent in a winter white dress, with faux fur and wide brimmed hat, Tasha O’Connor from Templeglantine, Co. Limerick, was declared the McElligotts Honda Virtual Best Dressed Lady on Friday 25th of September. Her vintage look was inspired by an outfit worn by Sue Ellen in the 1980’s American Sitcom Dallas. She bought her mid length dress from H&M and her statement headpiece from Marc Millinery. Tasha wins €500 in cash sponsored by McElligotts Tralee and Listowel Races.

The winner of the Most Contemporary New Season Look, sponsored by Brian de Staic Jewellers, was Jae Tourish from Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. She got her eye catching brocade silver and green dress from Stein Official and finished her look with a wide brimmed off-the-face emerald green headpiece from Wisteria Letterkenny.  The winner of the Best Headpiece, sponsored by the Muckross Park Hotel, was Michelle Manning from Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Colour blocking in bright shades of sky blue and canary yellow, Michelle’s suit was from Zara, coat from Riverisland and her winning multi coloured headpiece, made completely out of paper, was by Laura Hanlon Designer. The two other finalists, Stacey O’Leary and Catherine O’Connor receive a set of tickets to next June bank holiday’s racing festival at Listowel.

The judging panel, headed by Orla Diffily (TV Stylist with RTE Today and Model Agency Owner) were absolutely overwhelmed with both the standard and exceptionally high number of entries from all over Ireland. The Directors of Listowel Race Company, sponsors and judges want to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to dress up and participate and look forward to welcoming everyone back to the race course when safe to do so in the near future.
