I am delighted to have this issue on the shelves, with lockdown happening in the middle of preparation of this issue I didn’t know where it was going, as you all know I rely on the good will of local business to support me, and people have been extremely supportive, so I am glad to say we made it through this month and we have some wonderful stories for you.
Our mantra is positivity so I am sorry if I don’t have daily figures and stats on COVID but its not what we do in Connect. Instead we chat to Ian Dempsey, master of the airwaves on Today FM now for many years, he tells us about life and the little things that make him happy.
We also catch up with TV chef Catherine Fulvio and she tells us about wonderful Wicklow.
We look at fashion in Castleisland, and we check out some of Kerry’s Butchers, a trade so important in all our lives but sometimes forgotten so we have a look and see what they have on offer.
Its been a tough few weeks and with so many business closed its harder, but hopefully this issue will throw some sparkle on your day.
For our December issue we have some great tips lined up for your home décor and cooking plans as well as some great gift suggestions so as the shops re open we will have all the best recommendations for Christmas for you,
In the meantime we remind you to shop local support local and stay in unless you need to go out for a genuine reason.
Until next time stay safe, mind yourself and mind each other.
