Its September, finally the children are returning to school and it’s a big step for everyone, it’s a different return so don’t beat yourself up take it in your stride and do what you are comfortable with, you know your child better than anyway so you make the decision you feel works for you.
We don’t have our usual interview with the new Rose of Tralee for you this year as we normally do, nor do we have our usual catch up with all the wonderful businesses of Listowel for Race week, but we did catch up with Barry Geraghty who has given us many a great day out at Listowel Races. We also talk to Mary McCarthy on rural pubs and lockdown, you will all agree it’s a very touching story.
We look at weddings and the options in these very different times, and we introduce you to some of Kerry’s wonderful hair and beauty salons in our salon guide. There may not be too many events happening for us to get the hair and make up done, but you know its good for us mentally as well as everything else to look and feel good so make that appointment with your hair or beauty expert, you will feel better and you will be supporting your local hairdresser or beautician too.
Kerry Women’s Resource Centre have a new home and they tell us their plans for this and of course our regular contributors bring you their usual advice and tips.
We launch a new website this month, we have always had our magazine to read online but we have added some great extras to our website in the past few weeks so log on and have a look www.connectpublications.ie we will be bringing you lots more online in the coming months but we will continue to be our printed magazine also as this is so important to our readers but the choice is there for those who like to log on and read. Connect Business will be getting its own dedicated website too so watch this space..
