Connect Lifestyle September 2021

Hi everyone

Its September, schools are opening, holidays are over. We have all enjoyed the lazy days with no lunch boxes, alarm clocks or uniforms but I guess it’s good to get back into routine.

We have lots for you this month, we are delighted to bring you the great news of the new collaboration with Kerry Airport as they spread their wings and support Kerry Film Festival, its been a tough few years for the festival but this union will bring it to new heights.

We chat to Kerry Lady Shauna Cashell who is gathering speed with her style business.

We are proud to introduce you to Tedx Tralee, an event happening in October. The independently organised event, licensed by TED, will feature local and national voices and TED Talks videos under the theme of ‘New Beginnings’. Launched in 2009, TEDx is a program of locally organised events that bring the community together to share a TED-like experience. Some of the best talks from TEDx events have gone on to be featured on TED.com and garnered millions of views from audiences across the globe with 32 Million subscribers alone on the TEDx YouTube Channel so we are thrilled to join forces with the two great men at the helm of this Bryan Carr and James Finnegan, Connect Kerry is media partner for the event so this issue will introduce the first of the speakers with the remaining speakers featured next month, tickets are limited so early booking is advisable.

As the visitors return home most of us will be looking forward to heading out for a bite to eat around the county so we have done a little tour around to bring you the top places to dine this month, we encourage you to support these people when you are considering dining out. It’s been hard for everyone so share the love support local and treat yourself and someone special to a nice bite in the process.

We also introduce a new contributor this month, Laura Holly, Laura has a very successful blog and is always on trend with fashion, beauty and lifestyle so we are looking forward to having her treat us to some great advice over the coming months.
