“It’s so much easier to achieve a work-life balance in Kerry…I never want to live anywhere else.”

THERE’S no place like Kerry at Christmas (or all year round for that matter) and a recent returnee to the county wants to live in the Kingdom for the rest of her life.
Julianne Spring Heavey, who was appointed as a Chartered Tax Advisor with CDS Law & Tax LLP during the Autumn, said she has found her dream job as well as reconnecting with the fantastic quality of life that comes with living in Kerry.
“I moved home a few years ago for family reasons but I quite quickly rediscovered the fantastic quality of life Kerry has to offer with a wonderful sense of community, short commutes and so much to do outdoors,” said Julianne.
CDS Law & Tax LLP specialises in taxation, mergers, acquisitions, corporate structuring, and property with the Kerry office located at 4 Denny Street, Tralee.
Julianne Spring Heavey has gained practice, industry, and management experience from working with legal, accountancy, and property development and construction firms throughout Ireland.
She is the latest Tralee person to join the firm where she works alongside Solicitor Mike Stack and Head of Taxation, Tommy Walsh.
Tommy was recently elected to the Council of the Irish Tax Institute which oversees the strategic governance of the leading representative body for Ireland’s Chartered Tax Advisors.
Kenmare-native and CDS Law & Tax LLP Partner and Head of Property, Jennifer Downing, said: “We are delighted to welcome Julianne to our team at CDS Law & Tax. The love she has for her hometown and county, coupled with her experience and skills as a Chartered Tax Advisor, is hugely beneficial to our clients.”
Julianne said she has enjoyed the experience of working with the firm in its Kerry office “because it provides city-level professionalism, while being based in Tralee”.
“Most transactions nowadays – commercial or private – require tax advice and our clients are delighted with the broad range of skillset and the positive energy we bring to the table.
“There’s absolutely no need to go outside Kerry for highly professional legal and tax advice when it’s all under the one roof here at CDS Law & Tax.
“It’s so much easier to achieve a work-life balance here. I never thought I’d move home to Kerry and now that I have, I never want to live anywhere else.”
